Wedding budget planner
Enter your total, split it across categories, and keep a running tally of what you have planned and what you have already committed. Everything stays in your browser.
Budget planner
Type the amount your families have agreed. Commas are optional.
The first split is equal across all categories. That is a neutral starting line, not a recommendation: move money towards what matters most to you.
Per-head helper
For costs charged per guest, such as catering. Use per-head prices from the quotes you have; leave a row empty rather than guessing.
General planning information, not financial advice. The planner only adds up and splits the numbers you enter; confirm every quote, tax and payment term with the vendor in writing.
How the budget planner works
- Your numbers only. The planner never fills in typical or average wedding costs. It splits and totals what you enter.
- Share or amount. Type a share (%) and the planner works out the amount, or type an amount and it shows the share.
- Changing the total keeps your shares. If the total goes up or down, each category keeps its percentage and the amounts are rounded to whole rupees so they still add up.
- Planned versus committed. Fill in "Committed" when you pay an advance or sign a contract. "Left" shows what is still free in that category, and rows where commitments pass the plan are flagged.
- Kept on this device. Your plan is saved in this browser’s local storage, not sent to us. Download a CSV or text copy to share it. Privacy details.
