Affiliate disclosure

How the shop links in our shopping guide work, and whether we earn from them.

Current status

Our shop links are plain Amazon.in searches with no affiliate tag. They currently earn us no commission. If we join an affiliate programme for this site, we will update this page and the notes next to every shop link at the same time.

What the links are

• Each shop link opens an Amazon.in search for a product type, such as "LED string lights". We do not link to particular products or sellers.
• The products, prices and sellers in those search results vary, and are chosen by Amazon and its sellers, not by us.
• We have not tested, rated or reviewed the products in the results. Our guide gives buying criteria, not endorsements.
• Shop links are marked as sponsored links in the page code and open in a new tab.

What does not change

No company pays to be included in our guides, and the buying criteria are written before any link is added. The budget planner, timeline and vendor lists contain no shop links.
